RosterScan is a local-first iOS app that turns work-roster images and PDFs into Calendar events. v1 processes everything on your device and does not require an account.
Data processed on your device
RosterScan reads roster images and PDFs that you explicitly select. OCR and shift parsing are designed to run locally in v1 using Apple's Vision framework. Confirmed shifts may be saved locally on your device so you can revisit past rosters.
Calendar access
RosterScan requests Calendar access only when you choose to export confirmed shifts. The permission is used to create events that you have approved. You can revoke Calendar access at any time in iOS Settings → RosterScan.
Analytics and purchases
The current build uses console-only analytics. If RosterScan later enables third-party analytics, crash reporting, or in-app purchases, this policy and the App Store privacy labels will be updated before that change ships.
If you subscribe to RosterScan Pro, your subscription is processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your roster images with any third party.
- We do not use your data to train machine-learning models.
- We do not require, create, or store an account for you.
Your rights
Because your roster data lives on your device, you control it directly: delete saved shifts in the app, revoke Calendar permission in iOS Settings, or delete the app to remove all local data.
