Your roster,
on your calendar.
Snap a photo of your rota. RosterScan reads the shifts on-device, lets you confirm them, and exports straight to Calendar.
No account. No employer integration. Calendar access only when you export.
Three steps. No typing.
The whole flow takes less than a minute. Most of that is you double-checking the shifts.
Import
Pick a photo, screenshot, or PDF of your rota — even a blurry WhatsApp image works.
Confirm
Review the detected shifts. Edit anything that looks off before it touches your calendar.
Export
Send confirmed shifts to Apple Calendar. RosterScan asks for permission only at this step.
Built around how you actually get your rota.
Most schedules live in image form. RosterScan meets them there.
Image, PDF, or screenshot
Camera roll, Files, or share-sheet — feed RosterScan any visual roster format your employer uses.
Native Calendar export
Shifts land in Apple Calendar as editable events you can color, share, and sync across devices.
On-device OCR
v1 reads your roster locally with Apple's Vision framework. No upload.
Confirm before export
OCR isn't perfect. You stay in control of what hits your calendar.
Local history
Past rosters stay on-device so you can revisit or re-export old weeks.
For everyone whose schedule arrives as an image.
If your shifts come on paper, in a group chat, or as a PDF — this is for you.
Questions, answered.
Does RosterScan connect to my employer?
No. v1 works entirely from files and images you choose. There is no integration with workforce management systems and no employer account required.
Where does the OCR happen?
On your device, using Apple's Vision framework. Your roster image doesn't leave your phone.
What if the OCR gets a shift wrong?
You confirm every detected shift before anything is written to Calendar. Edit times, dates, or titles — or delete a shift entirely — before exporting.
When does RosterScan ask for Calendar permission?
Only the first time you tap Export. The rest of the app works without Calendar access.
Is there a free version?
Yes. A free tier lets you try the full flow. Pro unlocks higher usage limits.
How do I cancel Pro?
Manage your subscription from Apple Account Settings on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
